Long lasting Foolishness

Please do not think that research conducted by a PhD (Doctor) or a Professor must be execellent! At least in Jambi, there is no big difference between research conducted by a low level researcher and that of Doctor or Professor, especially ones funded by Balitbangda.

Like the researches exposed today, I can not see/ hear something new or interesting. They only produced summaries and recommendations that are already public commons. In another sentence, without those reasearches every one is familiar enough with such kind of information and recommendation.

I am wondering now, do they realize that they are cheating the community by producing such kind of research? That (perhaps) would be not a big deal if the research is just their own initiatives or self-funded. Yet in this case, the provincial government gave fund to that research in hope they will produce useful solution for the problems in this developed province. What they gave today was so disappointing as well as humiliating their professions as either lecturer or researcher.

I can not forgive them money hungry. They have been betraying their profession just for the sake of material things. Physically They are not poor. Their hearts are!

So... I got nothing from today seminar. I even can not ask, the time was out ( or it was purposely designed so no one had chance to ask/clarify the methodolgy of research). I was pity of my boss who looked satisfied since the Sekda was willing to come and gave speech. The finalization of research project satisfies her so much but she does not consider the outcome of that researches

How pity you are my Jambi... Again your smart children cheat and do foolishness. I hope I am wrong; but I sense that this mass duping will last long. No indication yet this will end soon.
